Senior night; a roller coaster of emotions

Tuesday, January 29 will be a night that Corning Bobcat fans will never forget. There are many stories that could dominate the headline on this day, but the fact is, this night belonged to Bethany Stormes and her parents, Tina and Derwin Stormes and the Stormes’ family. This night belonged to a young girl gone too soon and her family, friends and community left in the wake of the tragedy trying to somehow move forward in life. Every senior player, cheerleader, band member and team manager’s name had been announced and had walked out with parents by their side to grab their plaque and roses for the mothers with only one name left to call. That one name left to call was Bethany Storme.
