Osceola was as good as advertised handling Corning - 66 to 6
Osceola (8-1) (6-0) defended their home turf Friday, October 26 on their Senior Night in style. The Seminoles are hitting their stride at the right time. Since their close defeat to Rivercrest earlier in the year they have been on a roll in all three phases of the game. Defensively they had only given up an average of seven points a game their last three games and that defense came to play again holding Corning to one scoring drive. Osceola came in ranked #7 in all of 3A and it was easy to see why with athletes all over the field and great team speed. Corning started off on the offensive side with much better production in the early going including a touchdown drive in the opening quarter of play. Osceola scored on their first two drives of the game and Corning answered right back when Grubb plowed through the heart of the defense cutting the lead to 14 to 6 in the first quarter.
