Lady Jr. Lady Bobcats lose to Sloan Hendrix; 23-20

On Friday, December 18, the Jr. Lady Bobcats took on the Greyhounds of Sloan Hendrix in a close game at home. At the half the Greyhounds were ahead 11-6, but the third quarter the Jr. Lady Bobcats held them to 5 points while scoring 5 points as well. In the fourth quarter the Jr. Lady Greyhounds pulled out the win with 12 points in the fourth quarter to 9 points scored by Corning.

Despite the loss, Kenlie Watson was the lead scorer of the game with 11 points; one point over the Greyhound’s top scorer, # 21 Graddy. Watson went 5-10 from the charity stripe and scored 6 points from the field. Presley Martin scored 7 points with 6 points with three 2-pointers and went 1-2 from the free throw line. Katie Karr added 2 points for the Jr. Lady Cats.
