Jr. Mustangs gallop past Corning - 30 to 8
Head Coach Joey Moseley and his Jr. Bobcat Football team traveled to Lawrence County Thursday, October 4, to battle it out with conference foe Hoxie. Corning dug a big hole early on and were never able to recover from the opportunistic Mustangs. Hoxie flashed out of the gates setting a quick and frantic pace. The Mustangs took the opening drive of the game 69 yards on just three plays from scrimmage. Hoxie scored with a 37 yard touchdown pass and converted their two point try gaining an early 8 to 0 lead with just a minute coming off the game clock. The Bobcats attempted to answer the bell early but after a first down quarterback sneak by Camdon Hudson but the Cats fumbled on the next snap.
