Jr. Lady Bobcats blow out Harrisburg; 38-18
On Monday, January 4, the Jr. Lady Cats came out to play as they faced the Jr. Lady Hornets of Harrisburg. At the end of the first quarter Corning went into the second quarter 8-1 and by the half the Hornets were gaining on the Jr. Lady Cats who still had the lead; 16-14. The Jr. Lady Cats forged ahead to win 38-18.
As lead scorer, Presley Martin was hot in the paint with seven 2-pointers and went 3-6 at the charity stripe for a total of 17 points. Kenlie Watson scored 9 points for the Jr. Lady Cats with three 2-point shots, a 3-pointer and going 0-2 at the free throw line. Katie Karr scored 6 points for the team. Kylie Wiedeman and Addison George scored 3 points apiece.
