Corning Jr. Girls fall to Pocahontas - 35 to 15

The Pocahontas Jr. Lady Redskins used a second quarter offensive outburst to cruise to victory Tuesday, January 30 in Corning. The Jr. Lady Bobcats kept the game close for one quarter of play only down 8 to 5. Corning didn’t allow a field goal in the first quarter and forced five Pocahontas turnovers. The second quarter belonged to the Lady Redskins in a dominating fashion. Early in the second quarter Pocahontas switched to a full court press that gave Corning fits offensively.
