Reaching More Veterans in Need of PTSD Care

According to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), as many as 20 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
PTSD is a mental health problem that can develop after individuals experience or witness a lifethreatening event. This understandably affects a large number of combat veterans.
