One person got a net around the tail end of the fish and the other got a net over the fish’s head and the four of us got the thing out on the bank. I was so proud of it that I almost carried it around too long in the hot weather before dressing. I had seen plenty of big fish before, but never had I caught anything like a seven pound catfish.
