James Sheffield, 50, of Corning, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Mr. Sheffield was a home health aide who enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching sports, collecting coins, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Survivors include his daughter Lauren Sheffield of Rockford, IL; love of his life Brenda Sheffield; sisters Jaime King of Corning and Ada Sheffield-Snyder of Rockford, IL; brother Ira (Crystal) King of Corning;
nieces Melissa Snyder, Amanda Sanders, Jessica Snyder, Amber Carmona, Bailye Raven King, and Patience King; nephews Gage Meredith, and Maddox King; uncles Don (Wanda) King and Larry (Brenda) King; aunt Elizabeth Taylor; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ira and Jeannie King. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service is Saturday, October 29, at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning with Pastor John Michael officiating.
