Local woman alleges tainted water purchased at grocery store

Recently a local woman reported on Facebook an incident of alleged tainted water purchased at the Corning 10Box. Betty Rouse said that she purchased bottles of Best Choice water and reported that after taking a drink from the bottle that it didn’t take right. Soon she said that her tongue felt heavy and her mouth and throat burned. Rouse posted pictures online of herself at the hospital in Pocahontas. Rouse stated, “They flushed me out with IV fluids and IV Benadryl and told me to keep taking Benadryl to keep reaction down. The whole thing has been a nightmare.” She said she posted about it on Facebook because she didn’t want anyone else to get sick.
