Carmack shares beauty of Black-Eyed Susans

Within Corning city limits is a patch of Black-Eyed Susans that will rival any country meadow. Anita Carmack invited the Red Hat Cats to pick and enjoy her backyard full of the golden flowers after their monthly luncheon at the home of Sue Taylor. Activity at the future Dollar General site

Concrete is being dug up on the lot next to Taco Bell to prepare the ground for a new Dollar General in Corning. Angela Petkovic, Public Relations Coordinator for Dollar General stated, “At this time, we are at the completion of a due diligence phase to relocate our 301 N. Missouri Ave. store, which includes securing final permits. We currently anticipate breaking ground within the coming weeks, but do not have an exact time and date planned to do so.”
