VFW holds Veteran’s Day ceremony
It was a wet and cold Veteran’s Day for local VFW members, but the weather didn’tdampen the patriotism and respect these veterans and visitors felt for those who have served their country. VFW Commander George Lowe made opening remarks and one by one those attending said a few words. Pictured is Earl Ladyman, second to left, talking about his son, Paul Ladyman, now serving in the Navy, who is currently on a reconnaissance mission and unable to give his whereabouts. The Ladyman’s requested prayers from the group on Paul’s behalf.
