Mayor voices opposition to cemetery drainage project during October City Council meeting
The Corning City Council met for the October meeting, with all councilmen present, to address the following items on the agenda: splash pad and playground project presented by Paige Catt, Matt Woolard concerning an airport grant, a computer service contract with Dennis Morgan and a city employee salary incentive.
Addressing old business, Paige Atkinson approached the council about going through with the Outdoor Recreations Grant Program, a matching grant for up to $250,000. Catt explained to the council that the grant is a yearlong process and is due August 25, 2018.
