Cleanup in progress at Wynn Park for picnic

Rick Ermert and Bobby Lowe are overseeing Wynn Park preparation for the 4th and have reported that cleanup has begun in the park over the last couple of weeks. All buildings have been pressure washed. Workers have been blowing leaves and debris out of booths and this week a fresh coat of paint is being added to the stands to welcome visitors on the 4th of July. The stage will also be painted. Workers will have three remaining weeks to clean and prepare the park before vendors and rides begin moving in and setting up. In a couple weeks they will be doing a trash pickup, cleaning restrooms, and checking electricity.

Brigitte McDonald, Chamber President reports that ticket sales for the three chances to win $5,000 are going well. Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce for $3 a ticket or $20 a book.
