Christmas project underway at Agape Mission
The Agape Mission has been busy collecting toys for area families for the 2018 Christmas season. Joyce Huggins, Food Director, reported 256 boxes of toys ready for area children for Christmas this year. Retired teacher, Erma Hart wrapped all the packages and Camden Washington, Vicky Banks, and Debbie Hewett also worked on the project.
Huggins said that families will begin to pick up Christmas packages on December 4, which is also the December food distribution day, and the Christmas packages will available for pick up through December 24, 2018.
The Agape Mission in Corning is located at 501 W. Second Street and serves Clay and Randolph County families. It is a Ministry of Current-Gaines Baptist Association.
