Artist mixes inspiration and muse to follow his art

Storytelling through music and art go hand-inhand for local artist Braden Walls; who encourages Hip-Hop music’s pure lyricism and chronicling of life events to inspire his art. Many of Walls’ pieces possess an edge that touch on social justice and his emotional influence. “I’m a firm believer in equality, especially racial equality. And I know Hip-Hop has a lot to do with this as it is a constant subject within the genre,” Walls explained. “Racial inequality angers me. I let some of my anger come through me and on to the canvas.”
