Downtown mural in the works
The Corning Art Alley & Mural Society recently announced the first mural has been started by Jennifer Wooldridge. Wooldridge began work on the mural last week. She will continue working as the weather permits. The artist said she has free-handed most of the mural and uses a metal tool for lines when necessary. The mural is located in an alley behind the old Susan’s Restaurant on Elm Street. Other murals are slated to continue down the alley. Greg Wilson, owner of Tom’s Tuckpointing donated the scaffolding for the project.
